Yoast SEO Wizard not working

    Hi guys, is there anyone that actually got it to work?

    No matter what hosting we use, no matter what themes / plugins setup – all I see is ‘Close Wizard’ button at the top and nothing else.

    Just checked the console in Firefox now on one of the newest designs in development, and all it shows is this:

    Loading failed for the <script> with source “…/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/js/dist/configuration-wizard-591.min.js?ver=5.9.1”.

    Any ideas?

    That sounds like a plugin or theme conflict. Can you try and gather as much information for us as possible? Please perform the following:
    1. Make sure the issue doesn’t persist when Yoast SEO is disabled.
    2. Check for conflicts.
    3. Check for JavaScript errors with your console.
    If you find any JavaScript errors related to Yoast SEO or if there is a conflict with a plugin or a theme, you can create a new GitHub issue for our developers. Please report the issue to a third party developer as well.
    If you didn’t find any conflicts or errors, we think the issue is specific to your site. We’d need to investigate further but are unable to do so on these forums. You can purchase Yoast SEO Premium and receive our Premium email support and we can help you further.

    Alternatively, you can ignore the configuration wizard and configure the plugin manually by enabling the advanced settings from the Yoast SEO -> Dashboard -> Features (tab).

    Oh yeah I’m ignoring it alright, it’s just to highlight the issue. Just looks like a waste having it there at all.

    And as I said no matter what setup – it’s just not there.

    Even on ‘naked’ install with default WP theme and nothing else installed.

    I already gave you the only error I see:

    Loading failed for the <script> with source “…/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/js/dist/configuration-wizard-591.min.js?ver=5.9.1”.

    Anyway, if it works for everyone else, just ignore me ??
