Fails most of the time

This is a very important plugin for migrating and merging WordPress content between sites and I used to use it a lot with much success. But now it almost always fails, getting stuck somewhere along the way or failing to import images. It’s disappointing that this plugin’s functionality is not officially supported by WordPress/Automattic.
