Trying to locate failure point, can shortcodes be used in a subject of a post

Hey All,

I’m trying to find out if it’s one of my plugins or whether it’s WordPress.

I have some fixed posts that I am auto posting to my blog daily (with a scheduler), etc, but sometimes there are a couple of words that change (hashtags), so I thought I could install a shotcode plugin, and the I’d only need to change the shortcodes, and not go into every scheduled post and change the text.

Is it possible to put shortcodes into a subject/title on a post, or do they only work in the body/content of the post?

If they only work in the content, does anybody know of a plugin that will allow me to schedule posts, on fixed days and fixed times, but have some customization to allow me to tweak a few things without having to edit each post again and again?

Hope someone can help me with this issue.
