Branch not created when creating branch

Are your branches set to be available to the public? (Check Public? on them)

Also, are they available in the internal Administration? Are they being created or is it failing before that, even?

Yes, they are set to public.

It does seem as though they are being created, because I am redirected to the success screen. However, when I click “view branches” or the branches admin button, the branch does not appear. And when I go to create a new room, I cannot because there are no branches.

I’m wondering if you might be having database issues. Can you create amenities? Do they stick?

I am able to create amenities.

Also, when I finish creating a branch, the confirmation screen says, “You have successfully edited this branch” even though I am creating a new branch, not editing.

There was an issue with an older version of the plugin that was having issues with the first branch created (it uses a 0 ID instead of 1 which comes up as empty). Can you try a second branch or have you tried more than one yet?

Can you check your wp-config.php file and temporarily change this line:

define('WP_DEBUG', false);

to this:

define('WP_DEBUG', true);

Then try to make another branch. See if it returns any errors and copy and paste them here if there are any.

I do not see any errors after I turn on debug mode and then attempt to create a branch.

What version of the plugin are you using?

Can you tell me what version of PHP also?

PHP Version 5.4.45

I have also tried to install the plugin on another site and I am having the same problem. Have you had any other reports of the plugin not working?

I’m working on testing this right now. I’ve installed it on a test site with no problem. I’m installing WAMP on my machine to see what happens on a completely clean installation.

I can’t get it to fail, and I’m not sure why it’s happening for you, but we’ll figure it out!

Let me try this WAMP installation.

Also, depending on your tech level, you can try using a Query Monitor (or check your MySQL query logs if you are logging them). I just captured my own query for the insert, and I’d like to see how yours looks.

FYI, the domain that I have been trying this on is basically a new wordpress installation on a new subdomain using the default wordpress theme with no plugins active.

I’ll look into the query monitor situation.
