    Is the gray administrative ribbon horizontally present at the top of the screen in mu 2.7 possible to turn on in regular/non-mu 2.7 WordPress? Or is it coming in a future release?

    kudos. that is what I needed. Not sure how WP usability tests turned up a vertical list of expanding/collapsing menus as the preferred design for 2.7. With that I have to scroll down for days to get to everything.

    Yea, initially I didn’t mind the menus on the left, but once I installed this plugin, I quickly discovered I really do like them better across the top.

    That’s the great thing about WordPress…if you don’t like something there is probably already a plugin somewhere that allows you to change if…it not, you can always hack the code yourself…open source…got to love it ??
