    Hi all!

Recently i’ve installed a fresh installation of WordPress via the Softaculous script. I installed bimber theme and the Snax plugin to play around with. However i did not like the UI of the Bimber theme and find it was acting buggy. I decided to completely remove the installation again with Softaculous and deleted my database also.
I installed a new WordPress installation, again with Softaculous and installed the Tagdiv Newsmag theme.
Next i configured my redis server and installed the Redis object cache plugin (what i always do on my new websites) and also the Seedprod coming soon plugin.
Next i installed the Child theme of the Newsmag but now it gets funny:

Problem 1: You need to “activate” the Newsmag theme by entering the “Item Purchase Code” – When i did this all looked fine and the notification said that the theme was active. I played around a bit more till i suddenly noticed that the theme was not active anymore and it asked me to activate the theme. It keeps doing this eg: first it’s accepted and after a while the licence is rejected again

Problem 2: When i logged out of the admin area, i noticed that the url had ?snax_login_popup in it. How could this? It’s a brand new installation and i deleted all in the public_html folder and fully removed the previous database also. So normal there should not be anything left from this snax plugin.
It gets even stranger: That same url with Snax in it now even bypasses my coming soon page: https://hertgaan.be/?snax_login_popup

    Heeeeelp ??
I’m pulling all my hair out

Hope somebody have some knowledge about this.

PS: I removed this second install also and i am no longer using the Softaculous installer but tried it now with the 5 minutes install.
    Problem stays!

I am uncertain but as for problem #1, maybe that theme does not support child theme? Might check with the theme’s developer.

For problem #2, question: did you have to sign up for SNAX thus providing them your site’s url?

    I think i’ve solved the 1st problem.
    The 2nd problem remains.
I haven’t signed up for snax
