I have a very simple application and I’m not sure why I can’t get it to work. Here is one example:

    [time-restrict off=”2017-12-01″]
    Displays Text
    [/time-restrict]

Test 1: I tested on 11-30-2017. If I Update the page it works as expected – I get “Displays Text”.
If I change the above restrict date to “2017-11-01” and update the page it works as expected – no text is displayed.

Test 2: If I set a date-time to “2017-11-30 02:00:00” and test the page before and after that time, it works only in the state as the page was last “updated”. I.e. if I update it before that time it shows “Displays Text”, but after that time it still shows “Displays Text.” If I then update again after that time, it no longer shows”Displays Text.”

It’s like I compile in the time rather than it always being active.

Thanks for any suggestions you can give.

    Hi,

I suspect it’s more an issue of caching. When you test it out, do you do a “hard refresh” when you reload the page? The logic is based on when the page is loaded and when the page was updated has no bearing on it.

    Hi Dave,

Thanks for your very quick response.

I thought I had flushed the cache but I guess I hadn’t done it properly. I retried it this morning and it works fine.

Sorry to have bothered you. Thanks for an excellent plug-in. It is extremely powerful and useful.
