We do over 100,000 in orders per month, this issue is urgent and we are willing to pay for a fix.

When attempting to purchase an item from our store we click the “Check out with Paypal” and it prompts us to login. We login and it redirects us to the checkout page with the paypal information entered. We click “Place Order” and for some reason it prompts us to login to paypal for a second time. After we login for a second time it redirects us back to the checkout page but says “your order amount is zero, We were unable to process your order, please try again.”

We believe this issue is related to our theme as we do not recall it happening prior to us switching to the Enfold theme. We are not in a position to change themes at this time.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

What you are describing sounds like a caching / CDN conflict. Are are you running on WPEngine, by chance? They are notorious for this, but regardless, it sounds like caching, especially considering you recently switched themes.

Try clearing out all cache / CDN tools on the site/server, and then also clear out your browser cache so that you know everything is clean and give it another go please.

We use Cloudproxy Caching. I just cleared it.
    Logged out of our site
    Cleared my browser cache
We don’t currently do any local caching on our wordpress site (we are going to implement W3 Total Cache in the next couple of months)
    We don’t currently use WPEngine
    Attempted To purchase item again.

    Got the exact same issue.
    Prompted for login twice
Final purchase failed with error “your order amount is zero, We were unable to process your order, please try again.”

Can you temporarily switch the theme just to verify whether or not that is where the conflict is coming from?

I’m a little bit confused on when exactly the problem started. Have you been using our plugin successfully for a while, but then you switched the theme and this started happening? Are you sure your current theme version is updated to work with all the latest changes made to WooCommerce in their most recent updates?

With the type of order volume you’re talking about I would think you would have run tests on a staging copy of the site prior to making a big change like the theme..?? Did you do that successfully, but then the problem is happening on the live site even though it works on staging?

You say you’re not interested in changing the theme, but if the change was recent can’t you just revert back to the theme you were using to get rid of the problem so that you can then work on a staging site to ensure everything is good before switching the live site again?

    Figured it out!

A specific product inquiry plugin was recently updated by our developer and it broke our paypal checkout!

I have the developer working on a fix as we speak.

Glad to hear it! As such, I’m going to mark this thread as resolved but feel free to respond here again if you have any other question or concerns about that.

Also, if you have a moment to leave a review for the plugin that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
