    Hi,

I am trying to troubleshoot why I can’t see the Navigation Toolbar (the arrows) at my blog.

I have tried to deactivate all plugins, which did not help me.

I then tried to switch to another theme, which worked. However I would like to keep my theme, while still using your plugin.

Is there an easy-fix to this problem?

Thanks for the help in advance

    Hi,
This problem is due to a conflict with another JavaScript library (“Bootstrap”), that is brought by your theme. It is similar to the problem reported here:
    https://github.com/yo35/rpb-chessboard/issues/69

I think I will quickly implement a workaround for this problem in RPB Chessboard, as more and more people report a problem due to a conflict with Bootstrap in some way.

    Hi,
The fix is now available with RPB Chessboard 5.1.4 (just released). So you should upgrade to this version, then go to the admin pages, “Chess” > “Settings” > “Compatibility settings”, and select “Try to fix jQuery’s buttons”.

In your case, this won’t be enough to fix the problem, as Sparkling introduces a second bug on top of the first one. See https://github.com/puikinsh/Sparkling/issues/203 for more details.
As a workaround for this second bug, you can remove the following file your-website-root/wp-content/themes/sparkling/assets/js/vendor/bootstrap.min.js and replace it with your-website-root/wp-content/themes/sparkling/assets/js/vendor/bootstrap.js.
