    Hi,

This plugin is perfect! Really nice, and thank you for created it.

I am using it on a website with buddypress and bbpress. If you get a private message (by buddypress system) which contains an url the plugin display a screenshot. It seems the plugin is trying to use the url. When I deactivate the plugin the error disappear.

    I attached a screenshot:

    Beside that, great plugin!

    Hi Arutam,

That “screenshot” is actually an embed (iframe) of the linked page.

The root issue is that your website’s page embeds are not working for some reason. Your page embeds should look almost exactly like the minimal embeds here and here, and this inline example:

    WordPress 4.9 “Tipton”

Once you have your embeds working, then share buttons, etc. won’t appear when embedded in various places such as BuddyPress messages.

    Hi @micropat

    Thanks for the help.

I tried to find information about it… I read how to solve embed issues but the error still there. May you suggest where should I look for? I modified files, install and uninstall plugin but always is the same. Or there is a function to desactive “embeds” once I install AddToAny?

    Thanks
    Regards

I’m not sure about your embeds issue. You should post a link to your site in the general support forum where you can get more help in troubleshooting why your site’s embeds aren’t working.

Embeds automatically ignore AddToAny and other plugins, so once you have embeds working you won’t see AddToAny, etc. in embeds.
