The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet

    Hi

    I have just tried to install a WooCommerce theme called ‘Colors’ as I am a student and working on a tutorial that uses it?

    After uploading via upload it says.

    “Unpacking the package…

    Installing the theme…

    The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.

    Theme install failed.”

    I tried to search for the theme on my site, couldn’t find it, so I downloaded it from the plugin site?

    How do I get this to work?

    unzip the theme you downloaded. There’s probably an inner zip file that contains the theme you should upload.

    Hi Steve,

    I have unzipped the file, there is no inner zip file, just the folders

    Assets, includes, languages, and files readme.txt and woocommerce-colors.php

    Your site seems to be using the Sydney theme. Where did you get the other theme?

    The WooCommerce Colors is a Plugin and not a Theme! I was working on Themes at the same time, just got confused? All sorted now.
