I was looking for a reservation type calendar plugin that was quite specialized for my needs, and found that Birchpress was the best one out of the many I researched and demoed. One of the main features that I really like is the ability to have a publicly viewable calendar of the appointments. This is something that not many other schedulers can do.
The design is clean and simple, but let’s you customize fully with CSS. And their support is great including help with customizations through PHP.
Well worth the cost for the extra Business Edition features.
