Meta Slider is a great plugin and I have been very happy with it until today. Did an update cause problems for other people? The slide show is now frozen. Arrows are turned on but they are not visible, and neither are the dots. Is this something that can be fixed, please? Any suggestions would be very helpful. Thanks.

  • Hi @hmahraj, can you check and make sure you have the latest version (3.6.3)? We had a few mishaps with the initial 3.6 release but they have been address in patches since then. Can you update then let us know? Thanks

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

Have the same problem, not solved yet. I’m searching for sources of previous versions.

    Thanks @johnconner for the feedback.

Have you updated to the latest version? @hmahraj above is using an older version so that might be the reason they are experiencing an issue. If you can link to your site I can take a look.

And I have the same problem too. Updated to the latest version Meta Slider (3.6.3) and WP 4.9. Then my FlexSlider stop work. Showing only 1 of 11 photos and not move. Frozen. Arrows are turned on but they are not visible. Work only in Preview mode. Please help!
    Thank you so much!!

Hi @alessiovor, and this might apply to everyone. It looks like you have a caching plugin that is causing some issues. “bwp-minify” is the name. Maybe you just need to refresh that?

Hi, @kbatdorf. Thank you so much for help! You are right! I deactivated bwp-minify plugin and right now slider working.
    Thank you!!)

    This is my site.

Meta Slider version I have is 3.6.3
I guess I would have to go through each plugin and deactivate to find out if a bwp-minify plugin is the problem. Is there a quick way to know?
    Thanks for all the responses.

OK, I checked and I do not have the bwp-minify plugin at all.

@hmahraj, check the advanced settings on the actual slideshow in the admin area. Make sure you have printJS and printCSS enabled.

    (@hmahraj)

In the Advanced Settings, all are enabled: Print CSS. Print JS. No conflict mode.

    I’m not sure but do you have any caching plugin? I see this line in th emarkup that might be causing it;

<!-- Styles cached and displayed inline for speed. Generated by https://stylesplugin.com -->

Thank you for helping. I deactivated the Styles plugin. No change. Should I delete this plugin to get rid of files. or something else?

@hmahraj, it’s difficult to say. Check the settings page to see if there is a way to purge the cache. Deleting might not have any effect.

In Settings, I do not see anywhere to purge cache-only browser cache. ??

Here’s a stab in the dark. Do think if I deleted the MetaSlider plugin and re-installed, it might fix itself?
