    Hi people,

    Last week I decided to take down my portfolio that was aged a little and start over from the beginning.

    I have the theme ‘Avada’ installed, and when I try to adjust the theme to my desire (through ‘appearance’ > ‘theme options’) a weird glitch comes up that I cant seem to resolve. I am in the menu that seems to be called ‘Fusion’, I am not sure if this is a plugin or not. The menu has all sorts of option to adjust things to my desire, like ‘menu’, ‘colors’, ‘header’, ‘footer’, etc. But somehow some of these options only show me a blank page with only the adjustable sliders to change values visible, but the description and everything else is missing..

    This seems to be happening only on roughly half of the options, the other half work perfectly fine..

    I made a screenshot that show the problem, and one that shows how it should look like:

    How do I solve this?

    Thanks in advance.

    Max

    Try deactivating all of your plugins to explore whether any could be responsible. If none are, keep all plugins deactivated and switch to the Twenty Seventeen theme to check whether it’s an issue with your theme.

    I tried to deactivate all the plugins. That did not resolve the issue.

    After activating the twenty seventeen theme the option ‘theme options’ completely disappeared, apparently that option is linked to the Avada theme. I already updated everything (wordpress, avada theme, plugins etc) but still no luck.

    So im still looking for a solution

    Would you be able to ask your theme vendors for support? It sounds like an issue specific to their theme options and unfortunately we don’t support commercial themes.

    @anevins I tried that, unfortunately I ran out of my support time for the theme and they will only offer support when I buy 6 new months ($42!!) of support.. I’m not really willing to pay that money to fix a bug.

    Anyone?

    I’ve got exactly the same problem with the “Avada Theme Options”, but the thing is when I click on a submenu it shows the options for just a second and then it gets covered by this grey sheet, and when I press on other submenus these even get covered by other colors (green, red, etc…) hidding all pretty much all the options, you can only see the dots you can slide to adjust some options. I am having this problem since more than 2 weeks now, i have tried de-activating all the plugins and even uptdating from avada theme 5.1.6 to the latest one 5.3.1 but nothing changes, it keeps having the same problem even with this new version the footer moved from its place so I had to do again a restoration of the system to the older 5.1.6 version to fix this. This is just blowing my mind, i’ve been looking for a patch on the avada site to fix it, but it didn’t do anything and nobody seems to be willing to help, im so frustrated now, cannot continue with my website, please I need help to fix this as soon as possible.

    hi all, i noticed the same issue, but only in Chrome browser, in Firefox all works fine. i contacted already the theme support and aks for an general fix. i hope this will be done soon.
    Regards
    Nicole

    I am having the exact same issue with the Avada theme. I’m completely updated, and plugins are not the problem.

    This showstopping glitch occurs whether I am using Chrome or Firefox.

    Extremely frustrating!

    The same issue is happening to me.

    I found that the color picker is causing this issue. Applying CSS to wordpress admin pages required a PHP function. This is what I am using to disable the color picker from my view. At least now I can edit all the other options.

    add_action(‘admin_head’, ‘wp-color-result-disable’);

    function wp-color-result-disable() {
    echo ‘<style>
    .wp-color-result {
    display: none !important;
    }
    </style>’;
    }

    @smccombs Where should i paste this PHP/CSS code to work for me because i have the same problem ?

    Access your website with FTP then navigate to ‘wp-content/themes/Avada-Child-Theme/functions.php’ and add the code to the bottom of the file.

    Make sure your Child theme is activated. You should always use the child themes.

    You could also do this with the WordPress interface through editor but since the last couple of WordPress updates, it no longer works for me on many sites.

    This method doesnt work with my wordpress, it blocks my website, hope there is another solution for this.

    I was able to resolve this issue by updating Google Chrome.

    You can update Chrome from the 3 dot icon on the top right of your browser, Help > About Google Chrome. It will automatically start an update if it is available.

    If this does not work, try inactivating each of your Google Chrome extensions and check to see if it works.
