Change listing details

    Hi,

    I wish to change details shown in list elements.
    I wish to show less details about company (like name, category) in listing than in
    company page (all added through form).
    I’ve been going through files to find the html for list elements, though I failed.
    Can you tell me how can I achieve this?

  • Just to check this may not be an HTML change for you. If you go into admin, then the field editor and click on the field you do not want in results listing it is known as the excerpt. Untick ‘Show this value in excerpt view?’ then the field won’t show in listing results but will show in company page. Is that what you are trying to do?

    Hi @adud3k93,

    Sorry that you ran into issues here!

    If you want to limit the display of fields on the listing, you can do that under Directory Admin->Manage Form Fields. You can change the visibility of any field in there to excerpt (list view), listing (detail view) or search form. Each field can be controlled separately.???? The change you’re looking to do is not in the code, as @djmathu correctly suggested above.

    Try that and let me know if you run into more issues.
