site suspended, need help.

Hi.

My hosting company told me they flagged this file: /wp-user/user-config/B.O.A/ and I have to delete the whole folder and they will reinstate my service so I can see if anything else is messed up. Trouble is, I don’t know what this file is or what it does, or if I will be losing anything major.

I’m a bit afraid to download them to my PC because it might be risky, and I don’t know how to know if they are dangerous.

I got a notice from the hosting company that my sites had all been hacked back in August, right before the hurricane hit. I was working on it, but there wasn’t enough information that I could use with my limited skills to know what files to change or delete or not. I wanted to hire someone to do it, but I couldn’t afford it at the time. They all wanted over $300 or more per site.

Near as I can tell, the database is still complete.

So, I lost my web sites (6 years of work) and my home in the same week. Now that I am settled in a camper for the unforeseeable future, I have some time to work on the web sites and their issues. If there is anyone out there who is willing to help me learn what to do, I would so much appreciate your help. Money was tight before the hurricane, and it is even worse now.
