So I’m really confused. I would like to set up MailChimp but I’m a little lost.

Does MailChimp replace the signup that is on WordPress? So I have to send newsletters instead of it emailing out to people when I post a new post? Or does MailChimp do that too?

Also I’ve figured out how to basically set up MailChimp (still figuring out the small bits and pieces) but I’m trying to figure out how to take my old subscribers on WordPress (with the subscription button WordPress provides) and move them over to MailChimp so that I am able to send out news letters.

    Thanks so much!

    Hi,

I’m not sure what sign up form you currently have on your WordPress. maybe Jetpack or feedburner or something like that? Hard to tell without a link to your site.

You could indeed replace that form with ours and if you have an option to export the emails from the previous sign up method you could import those into your Mailchimp account.

Here is instructions on how to send out a campaign with the latest posts automatically: https://kb.mc4wp.com/send-email-campaign-with-latest-posts/

Please note we are not affiliated with MailChimp.com. We are a different company “ibericode” that develops plugins such as “MailChimp for WordPress”. I’m sorry to tell you I am not able to help you with this question as it is not related to our plugin. My advice to you is to contact MailChimp.com as they would be the best people to answer any query related to your MailChimp.com account.

You can contact MailChimp.com trough https://mailchimp.com/contact/support/

I hope that helps. If you have any queries specific to our plugin please let us know!
