Can’t Validate Blog

    For the life of me, I can’t pinpoint this error. I’m trying to validate my blog, however, I get a message that it can’t be validated because of an error. I’ve gone through every post, correcting errors as I’ve discovered them.

    I’ve copied and pasted the source code into an HTML editor. There are some errors in the footer, but it is encrypted, with a condition in the license to keep it intact. I contacted the theme creator to ask if they could correct the code errors, but no word back.

    Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

  • unable to validate this document because on line 398 ..

    View > Source and go to line 398, you’ll find the line starting with <div class=”box box-widget_rss”>, the RSS widget includes ? characters not recognized as utf-8 which are generated by said widget. Disable RSS widget and then validate your page.
