    Hi.

As mentionned in the subject, even if I have defined the archives part of my website to ‘noindex’ I don’t see the tag in the source of my document :(…
It’s apparently linked to a problem with the Divi theme from ElegantThemes.

    TIA for your feedback.

    Pierre.

  • Hi,

That is odd. We say that as if you have selected “noindex” in the SEO-Titles and Metas-Other-Subpages, a noindex tag should be outputted on pages like https://www.7speaking.com/fr/blog/page/2. We would like some more information.

    1. Can you confirm you are using the most recent Yoast SEO v5.7.1? If not and you updated does the issue resolve? This guides explain more about how to update: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-can-i-update-my-free-plugin/.

    2. Can you confirm you are using the most recent Divi?

    3. Clear your caching from your plugin, theme, server, browser, or CDN such as Cloudflare. If you do that, does the issue resolve? If you are not sure how to clear your server caching, please speak with your host provider. This guide explains more about how to clear browser caching: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-to-clear-my-browsers-cache/.h

    Hi.

    1. Yes. I can confirm that I use the most recent Yoast SEO v5.7.1.
    2. Yes. Not on the website URL I gave you (where there’s the penultimate version of Divi), but on this website https://www.framboizeinthekitchen.com/ and where the problem exists too…
    3. Already done without any success.

TIA for your help and support.

    All the best,

    Pierre.

Unfortunately, we are unable to reproduce the issue using the Yoast SEO v5.8, WordPress v4.9, and having the 2017 theme active. So, we think this is an issue specific to the Divi theme. Have you reached out the Divi theme developer for assistance yet?

On the other hand, we’d also welcome you to submit a bug report directly to our GitHub repository so our developer can look into this issue further. Once you submit the bug report, please also share the relevant GitHub issue report URL to the Divi theme developer. So, they can contribute directly to fix the issue.
