Product Images not showing after moving site to root

  • How did you move the site? Did you use a search/replace script to change the urls in the DB?

    No I didn’t use a search/replace script.
    I copied the files to the root and changed the general settings in the dashboard.
    I am reading about Velvet Blues Update URLs plugin.
    Do you recommend I use this plugin or is there another you can recommend?

    You should never just move a WordPress folder. It is not like files on your computer that you can just move. Everything in the site is referenced in the database. If you move the folder you break the url’s for all the items in your site.

    follow the instructions and you issue will be resolved.

    Next time you want to move a WordPress site, please use a backup/restore plugin that changes the url’s for you.
