User based photo gallery with viewing permissios

Hi. I hope someone here can help me!

I’m looking for a way to run a WP site where each registered user would get their own *private* photo gallery. These galleries would by default be inaccessible to anyone else, but the user or admin (me) would be able to grant privleges to other users or user groups. The privs would include being able to view, download, rate, comment etc.
I don’t need slideshows or flash or lightbox effects. Just simple galleries/albums/images views with the ability to view full size.
Anything like this exist? Any help much appreciated!
