• I have a site/blog that I am working on. I have modified the default theme to fit my own theme and everything looks spectacular in wonderful Firefox. However when I test in IE it looks like the heinous scribblings of a blind monkey. The blog isn’t even there and there is a cursed horizontal scroll bar gracing the bottoms of my page. Any help on fixing this issue would be most excellent.

Start by fixing these: Validation errors

What Ipstenu said. Do not copy and paste from MSWord onto your Write panel content area, that causes many validation errors due to extraneous codes carried over
e.g. excerpt from your page source code
![endif]--><!--[if gte mso 9]><xml> etc etc etc.

Thank you so much for the replies. I fixed the problem with copying and pasting out of word and it now looks great in FF and IE 7. However in IE6 it still looks like the bottom crust of a dumpster. The pic gallery seems to be positioned at the bottom of the screen and there appears to be a 200 pixel margin at the top of the blog.

I tried solving some of the validation errors that remained, but unfortunately I am stumped. Again any help would be awesome.

Why won’t people just upgrade to IE7?

IE 6 needs to curl up and DIE :/

Your validation errors can be ignored now. They won’t affect layout.
