?? Image Widget Release: Image Widget 4.4.7

    Howdy folks!

    We’re happy to announce that Image Widget 4.4.7 officially released just moments ago. This is a maintenance release, which is a fancy way of saying we squashed a lot of bugs, including some high priority ones we know many of you will appreciate.

    So, what’s new in this release? Glad you asked, because I was getting to the change log:

    • Feature – Added new Link Title field and filter to improve tooltip (previously used alt text) (thanks @marklcm)
    • Tweak – Added new image_widget_option_defaults hook to improve customizability (props @svandragt)

    Next up, we’re making progress on the next major feature release for Image Widget and can’t wait to get that out to you. In the meantime, please update safely as you would with any other WordPress, theme or plugin update and be sure to let us know if you run into any other issues.
