Hello, can someone tell me if it is the correct reason, when customers are not allowed to pay by debit card or credit card on paypal ?

If things haven’t changed, it’s Paypal that decides to show or not the credit card payment, even if the option is enabled or not in Paypal settings.

It has always been like this: depending on country, IP, cookies, and other factors, Paypal can decide to hide the credit card payment and decide to force users to register an account.

And there is nothing that anyone can do about it. But sorry if I am wrong.

I’m sure PayPal is ultimately in control of that. It may be worth stating that in most cases I’ve seen when a customer doesn’t see the pay bey credit/debit card option it’s because of something wrong with the store owner’s account. The store owner must have a business or premier account. A personal account does not allow this option.

? The setting for PayPal Account Optional needs to be turned on – this enables non-PayPal members to pay by Credit Card.
? The email address you use to log into your PayPal Account must be verified.
? Bank Account must be linked and verified.
?? Credit Card must be linked and verified.

Usually fixing one of those, will get the credit/debit card option to show up.

I hope that adds some additional information.
