Cannot comment on blog posts

  • I installed wp 2.7 in root directory and things look good for the most part. However when I try to comment on a posting it rediects me to my website home page immediatel.

    Any idea how to address this problem? Are there some setting I am overlooking?

  • might be your theme’s comments.php is not set up correctly. to double-check if that’s the case, change design theme to default and see if you can post comments there.

    I was able to correct the problem by change the default permalinks file to any other option other than default.

    Once that was done everything worked fine.

    nobody is able to comment on my website. I was led to believe that my comment url’s arent rendering properly. I dont know where to go from here. i have tried to edit m single post.php and my comments.php. I cannot figure it out though. Please help!

    Have you the right permalinks. And if you have changed anything. Do you have updated the htacces file?
