Customize Each Individual Member Access

I’d like to set up my site where not only do people login to see protected content, but each account has different content they are able to see based on how long they’ve been a member.

Reason for this is for teaching a course online and only want students to see the video they are ready to see, as different students will join at different times and need to all work through the process individually.

I want to allow them to access 1 item per week… if they are at 7 weeks they see 7 videos if they are at week 3000 they see all the way to week 3000 etc…

So simple login for members only content isn’t going to work. I want to have that but also the ability to specify which content they can see at anytime. Or have it automatically update each week, either way is fine.

I just need to be able to share content at different rates for different users.

Another strategy perhaps:

If I just keep the links to the page or files invisible off the website, and only share it with the member when they reach that point in the lesson, so they can only access it directly?
