  • Hi ??

Please, can you try a few things:

    1. Confirm the Scroll to Top is enabled in Theme Settings > Navigation.
    2. If it is, please, switch back to the parent theme, does it appear?

    1. confirmed
    2. I switched back to parent, Scroll to Top was disabled, after enabling it, it appeared.
    3. I switched to child, Scroll to Top does not appear either enabled or disabled.

    What should I do now?

Thanks for trying. I’m not yet sure what the issue is. If you have a FTP program setup you could:

    Backup your child theme.
Then remove all child theme files except for functions.php and style.css.
Does the issue persist? If the issue is fixed, add child theme files back until the issue re-occurs.

    Ok, done.
The faulty file is footer.php (1st guess).
Now I need to compare your new footer.php and find out what changed.
You are always changing things !!!
    Thanks

Here we go: https://github.com/siteorigin/siteorigin-unwind/blob/develop/footer.php. I don’t know that we’ve changed anything that would have impacted scroll to top with footer.php in a child theme. Please, let me know what you find.

I got loads of stuff in my footer.php, 3 widget areas, 1 menu, 1 fixed image. I turned back to mine for now. I will come back later to find out. I will comment my findings, probably not today.

    Thanks a lot! Great support!!

No rush at all. I’d be happy to take a look for you if you can post the footer.php file somewhere.

    Thanks ??

    Fixed!
Lines 55 to 60 were ALL missing!
    I really don’t since when the Scroll-to-Top was missing…
    I noticed yesterday…

    Thank you a lot!

Awesome ?? Glad to hear you found the cause of the problem. I could see on your site the markup was not there so I thought it was not a JavaScript error.

The method above is a relatively quick way of checking to see if a problem is being caused by a child theme.

Thanks for your support ?? Chat soon. Cheers.
