People say it’s easy, but I’m a noob and can’t get it to work on the page

The blurb about the plugin says it can do columns on the page as well as on the post. I downloaded it correctly, but no matter what I try it won’t separate the posts into columns. I was hoping I didn’t have to learn coding to be able to do a simple column on WordPress but I can’t figure it out.

I can’t figure out how people keep saying it’s easy when I’m ready to throw the computer into the wall…..
