WP Grins Comments Only

I’m using Alex King’s WP Grins 1.5 plugin in my WP blog v2.5. The plugin works well. However the smilies are very distracting in my post editor while composing posts. How do I edit the wp grins file to display smilies in comments only? Thanks for any advice!
