Getting script text after quote

In my “What People are Saying” sectiong, after the first random quote properly loads, the second quote adds (what should be invisible) javascript to the random quote shortcode output (after the quote author) and then no further quotes are loaded. It looks like this:

setTimeout(“xv_random_quotes.newQuote(”,”,’604645′,’https://www.website.org/wp-content/plugins/xv-random-quotes/’,’1′,’0′,”,’7′,”,’loading…’,”)”, “7000”);]]>

or like this

SmithsetTimeout(“xv_random_quotes.newQuote(”,”,’414542′,’https://www.website.org/wp-content/plugins/xv-random-quotes/’,’1′,’0′,”,’7′,”,’loading…’,”)”, “7000”);]]>
