Excerpt length Post Grid and Post Carousel

  • Hello,

    Is there anyway I can control the excerpt length on the Post Grid and Post Carousel element? It’s too long for this page, due to the reduced width with the sidebar, but I cannot reduce the general wp excerpt length because it’s okay on other pages.

    I know other plugins control the excerpt length within the settings, but none is as good as yours in terms of styling. I love it!

    Also, my background for the content below the thumbnail isn’t showing up with a white background like on your demo, on the post carousel?

    I’ve been through the settings but can’t find any colour setting for the content background, am I missing something?

    We do have the excerpt length option added to the grid but unfortunately that is currently only in the PRO version of the plugin. We will try adding the same to the free version in near future when we release our next update.

    Regarding the background, I am not sure why that would happen. Do you have an example page where this occurs that I can take a look? Pls make sure you choose a grey or dark background for the carousel for the white background to show up right.

    I just purchased a license to postgrid to get the excerpt to work but it isn’t. It seems to be defaulting to the WP default no matter what I do. I could work with a larger default but that’s not working with postgrid either. Works on the theme with a category listing. Any help appreciated.
