    I’ve been using Postman SMTP for a while, nice to see someone else started updating it.

    I replaced Postman SMTP with Post SMTP but now I don’t receive orders made in WooCommerce anymore. The customer gets their order e-email but I never get the notification that a new order has been placed.

    I’ve tried disabling and uninstalling Postman but that doesn’t seem to help. I’ve also made sure the settings are ok, if I send a test message that works. According to the log all e-mails have been received. And all other e-mails seem to work fine, contact form and so on. It’s just the WooCommerce order notification to the store that doesn’t work. It’s not in the junk folder either.

    As soon as I deactivate Post SMTP and activate Postman SMTP I receive the order notifications again. Strange indeed…

    Using Post SMTP version 1.7.7

    @jyourstone

    I have checked it and everything is sent to me.

    If you press: “Show all settings” –> Message (tab)
    does “Disable e-mail validation” checkbox is checked? if not check and save settings.

    It’s checked and I already tried unchecking it, same result unfortunately.

    It’s really strange indeed. I’ll contact my web host as well to see if they can see anything.

    I understand it’s a webhost issue ??

    Thanks

    I am seeing the same issue where new orders are not sending an e-mail but other e-mail types are going through (via the log). I can manually push the new order e-mails through but they are not happening automatically.

    E-mail validation is disabled.

    WooCommerce Version:3.2.1
    POST SMTP 1.7.7

    Any thoughts on where to look would be great.

    @alestra

    new orders email just for the admin ? the client getting is email automatically ?

    Which email service do you use ?

    Please paste here the “Diagnostic Test” results –> Postman page in the right side.

    So I figured out how to solve the issue I was having; although not 100% sure what caused it. I had custom e-mail templates from my theme in my woocommerce e-mail settings. Disabling them solved my issue. Now I am unsure if it is an issue with woocommerce in general or just with the Post SMTP plugin, but perhaps it will help others along if they see the same issue.

    Thank you for a fast reply. I included my diag results just in case. I apologize for the thrash.

    Hi @alestra

    No problem, glad you fixed it.
    I just downloaded the theme to try understand which template it was, I can’t see any woocommerce template there.

    Do you mind answering this questions ?
    Can you give more details ? maybe the template it was a plugin settings ?
    What was in this template ? conflict with email details in Postman like “From” Field ?
