search issue

  • Hi,

    I am facing many issues in search functionality. Kindly find below mentioned points.

    1) When i am searching 49306 zip code than it is giving right result. But when i am continue searching with different-different zip code like 85012, 49307 than it is also giving right result. After that i again enter 49306 than it is giving no result found.

    2) It is also giving result on invalid zip code like 49306..@#..%dd, 4930#..%dd.

    3} When i am using some time 6 digit india zipcode than it is giving usa results. I ahve no any india store locator.

    Kindly help me asap. I will really appreciate the same.

    Hi,

    Searching by zip code is often a bad idea since the zip codes can exist in multiple countries, and it’s not always clear to the Geocode API in which country you expect the results to be in.

    You can try to set the map region on the settings page, and thick the checkbox. This will restrict the results to a specific country.

    I have got the answer of search by zip code. But you have not still answer of belwo mentioned queries.

    Why it is giving result on 49306..@#..%dd, 4930#..%dd? It should give no result found.

    And one last query: When search by 49306 zip code than it is giving right result. But after some time it is giving no result found than what is this issue? cache?
