• I think there may be an issue with the “Force hiding adminbar in frontend?” option under Roles. If set to Yes, it works fine, it forces the admin menu bar to be hidden when viewing the front end site.

But if set to No, it then forces the admin menu bar to be shown always, even if the user themselves set the option in their profile page to not show it or if we have “show_admin_bar(false)” set in functions.php. When set to No, I don’t think it override the user preferences, right? Or am I misunderstanding this option?

    Hi @pbarmak,

Ultimate member doesn’t have these settings on the user profile page, can you please clarify what options are you referring to?
    Please attach screenshots if possible.

    Regards.

I go to wp-admin -> Ultimate Member -> User Roles

Then I click on one of the roles (I pick Admin), and in the Edit User Role screen, the second option from the top is “Force hiding adminbar in frontend?”

Here is a screenshot, with the option turned on:

    Hi @pbarmak,

Can you please try to do a conflict test to rule out theme/plugin conflicts and see if this issue goes away.
Here is the doc on how to do a conflict test if you are not sure.
Please also check whether you have any caching plugins installed or server side caching active on your site and try to exclude Ultimate member pages from the cache.

    Regards.
