• I am not able to get the discount to apply to all products added to the order. I have setup products and variations all with the same fixed discount. I would like the discount to be applied to the TOTAL number of products ordered (they are all shirts). I have 3 products, Men, Women, Children each with multiple variations. The discount works across products and variations but it does not work as a total of all products.

For instance, if someone orders 20 Men shirts and 30 Women shirts they should get the discount set at 50 shirts just like if they were to order 50 Men shirts.

I have created the private page wc_bulk_discount_configurer with the same bulk discounts.

Did I misunderstand that the plugin will give discounts from the TOTAL products ordered?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Sounds like a ‘global discount.’ Unless it were a feature you could turn on and off this would negatively effect everyone else using the plug in. Imagine if you sold cups and shirts… would you want one cup discounted if people purchased shirts? We sell over 4000 skus… I assure the ones that I wanted bulk discounted are simply the same product with variations… it would seem like the best way for you to do it maybe?

I have had the same problem with global discounts – definitely doesn’t work as advertised. Sadly, it looks like I’ll have to stay with Volusion. ??

I don’t recall seeing it advertised as having a ‘global discount.’ Not sure how one can say ‘doesn’t work as advertised.’

“Possibility to set the discount globally for all products.”

I realize it is a free plugin, and it definitely works well for most applicaitons. My question was simply to know if I misunderstood what the developer meant by “…globally for all products.” or if I just have not set it up correctly.

Any input from someone who has been able to use the plugin globally across all products would be helpful.

I have the same problem. I want every first product added to the cart, to get 5% off, every second product added, would getthe 10% cartdiscount and every third (and more) products added to the cart would give a 20% discount.

    Is this possible to do?
