internal server error 500 when trying to install.php

  • hi i have godaddy.com as a host and am recieveing a internal server error 500 when trying to install.php i have all files in my root directory

    any help would be great.

  • Make sure you have a Linux account.

    If necessary look at your log files (or ask Godaddy support to look at the log files)

    For starters change hosting companies. GoDaddy sucks.

    This error might come from having your permissions set too high and the host not allowing it.
