USPS Combined Shipping?

    Hello! I have a client that has several hundred items of varying sizes and weights that they would like to ship using a combination of the USPS Woocommerce plugin and the Stamps.com plugin. Is it possible to avoid measuring the products/including the measurements in Woocommerce? In the premium version of the USPS plugin can they use the ‘Weight based’ option without inputting product dimensions and still generate shipping cost for the customer? (i.e. leaving the LxWxH fields blank on all products)

  • Hi Cynthia,

    Yes with the premium version of the plugin you can use only weight of the product to calculate shipping and generate labels, for both Stamps.com plugin and USPS plugin.

    You need to select the parcel packing method as Weight based packing in the plugin settings.

    Excellent, thank you for your quick reply. This may not be the right place to ask, but would the same apply for the UPS plugin? From what I can see the UPS plugin requires dimensions, is that correct?

    UPS too has the same packing options in the premium version so yes you can use only weight to pack the items as well.
