Global Analytics Tag Compatibility?

    I am trying to set up event tracking using this plug-in on my company’s new site. However, the event tracking won’t register. Code for Google Tag Manager is on my site, so I went through the process to set up the plug-in through Tag Manager. However, the plug-in still will not work. One of the things I noticed was that the plug-in asks for a Universal Tracking code, while my account has the new Global Tracking code. Would this cause problems with the plug-in? Or is there something that I am doing wrong with my set up?

  • We too are having an issue where event tracking will not work, despite just simply installing latest version, adding UA, then adding a single click event. Nothing is registering in GA.

    Version 2.5.0 now has support for Global Site Tag.
    You should see an option in the plugin’s General Settings tab.
