Fatal Error

  • Good day,

    After the ugrade to WordPress 4.8.2 some of the plugins don’t seem to work anymore. When I try to access my site or the wordpress login (can’t even log in anymore), I get following error message:

    “Fatal error: Class ‘Requests_IDNAEncoder’ not found in /usr/www/users/simeldgkpa/wp-includes/class-requests.php on line 597”

    I don’t know how to fix this and would appreciate any assistance.

    Try MANUALLY re-updating. Download a fresh copy of the WordPress .zip file to your computer, unzip it, and use that to copy up all files and folders EXCEPT the wp-config.php file and the /wp-content/ directory. You may need to delete the old wp-admin and wp-includes folders and files on your server before uploading the new ones. Please read the Manual Update directions first.
