WP 2.7 Dashboard Feedback

  • I love WordPress, and I like 2.7’s interface. I have two suggestions that would help me with my blogging…

    1. On the Edit Posts page, instead of listing the date as, “18 days from now” it would be far more useful for me to see it as the actual date and time it goes live. In fact, it would be best if it could read, “Sun, 1/11/09, 13:00.”

    2. The main thing I click to is the Edit Posts page, but the dashboard doesn’t have an option for a “upcoming posts” window, only “recent drafts.”

  • I agree with your second point. Since I regularly write a day or two ahead of myself, my favorite thing about the old dashboard was the “Upcoming posts” widget. It would be nice to have that back.
