    Hello,
I am trying to export our Memphis Docs library from our old site to our new site under development. It is quite large. I used the export function and left it overnight. When I went back in the am it was still “Exporting, be patient”. I am wondering if it is too big for this function. Is there any way to manualy move the library and keep everything in tact?
    Thanks!
    Kim

your only other option is to use the batch upload.. I would recommend the ftp batch upload.. You will lose some data but its the easiest way if export is not working.

What do you mean by “batch upload”?

if you goto the mDocs Dashboard > Options > Settings > Batch Upload

You can upload a zip file or use the FTP process.

OK, so this is basically for starting over again? Will the categories, etc. be in tact?

Categories don’t carry over in any situation, they are site based. But to answer your question yes it would be a start over.

I am looking into another solution for export for sites that have a lot of file but that won’t help you today.
