Links are broken

  • Hello. I just noticed, that half of my older posts have external links changed. Now they are pointing to /wp-content/uploads/ on my site. And if you click most of them, you are getting on the exact copy of linked EXTERNAL page but on MY website. My guess is that some plugin cached those external pages on my website. But i have no idea what happened. Some of those just point to 404 page now.

    For example, if i had link to Wikipedia in the body of text, now it links out to “https://mywebsite.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/Article-Name” and then it’s either 404 or code from that wiki article page.

    Can you please send me that live links those are you talking about.

    I suggest you to please flush your site permalink at first and then check your site.
    It will solve most 404 problem.
