Does Postman SMTP support two factor authentication? The Postman plugin was working great until we enable two factor authentication this morning.

I checked the email logs and we were receiving the following errors:
Token has been expired or revoked.(invalid_grant)
    Bad Request(invalid_grant)

I disabled the two factor authentication and tried to send a test email through the Postman plugin. I received the following error:
    Bad Request(invalid_grant)

I wasn’t sure what to do at this point but I noticed the following in the Postman configuration menu: Grant permission with Google. I went through the steps and tried a test email. Everything seems to be working again.

My question is, was this the correct way to address this issue? I am not sure if this screwed up the Postman settings or anything like that.
It still shows the following so I believe we’re alright:
“Postman will send mail via ??SMTP-STARTTLS to smtp.gmail.com:587 using OAuth 2.0 authentication.”

Also, if we re-enable the two factor authentication will it work if we click on “Grant permission with Google” and follow the steps?

    Thanks for your help
    -John

We found a fix. If you enable two factor authentication for Google G-Suite all you have to do is click on “Grant permission with Google” under the Actions Column in the Postman SMTP Settings. This will fix any issues and allow you to send a successful test email.
