• I would like the static option for showing validation errors (so only warning text below the input field), but for some reason, I only get floating-tip lay-out (with a red background color).
I tried both adding the static style to a specific input field and to the shortcode as explained on https://contactform7.com/customizing-validation-error-messages/ , but nothing works. As I understand it, the static option should be the default, but in my case the floating-tip seems to be the default.

I use add-ons: Conditional Fields for Contact Form 7 and Contact Form 7 Multi-Step, but not using the functions of these plugins does not change the situation.

Does anyone have a suggestion what to do, or how to change the css to get the lay-out I want?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

It’s working correctly as static style layout, but the theme you use is doing ill. Try switching to the default theme.
