Slow pageload / load in 2 steps

    Hello,
    I’m using Silk Lite and wondering why my site pages load so slow.
    Actually, the topmost part of the page loads quite fast : it’s the logo.
    Then, one or two good seconds later, appears the rest of the page.
    I’ve installed WP Fastest Cache but this did not seem to speed up anything.
    Is this something I can work on? A feature of the theme?
