Enabling horizontal scrolling shrinks the table

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

Instead of using the “Horizontal Scrolling” checkbox, please try the scroll mode of the TablePress Extension from https://tablepress.org/extensions/responsive-tables/
That should work better in these cases. The original cause seems to be some JavaScript problem, but I haven’t yet been able to track it down.
