    Awesome plugin USP team.

I created many categories for Posts in the backend, however while selecting a category from front end it only displays the default category.
Then after couple of days all the categories showed up in the front end.
Later I added few more categories in the back end, and again the same problem – not showing up in the front end.

Hi raja21be, glad to help. The plugin has a setting called “Categories” that enables you to select which categories are displayed in the form. So check that and enable any categories that you need. Also, the setting doesn’t add new cats automatically, so you will need to check/enable manually. Let me know if I can provide any further infos.

Thanks Jeff, it worked. Not sure how could I missed that simple setting.

Another point that I am unable to figure out is – if I submit a post from back-end (being the Admin), it is not getting displayed on the website page where all Posts are being displayed. However, all front end Post submissions are getting displayed just fine.

I am using the short code:
    [usp_display_posts userid=”all”]

    Regards,
    Raja

Hi Raja, glad you found the setting. For the post display, please understand that the shortcode [usp_display_posts] only displays submitted posts, not posts created via the Admin Area. Maybe that is the reason?
