• Hello,

i noticed that breeze doesn’t purge the cache after a comment has been approved. So, it seems auto purge varnish doesn’t working with comments.
Please, this is a problem cause to purge the cache manually every time a new comment has been added.
    Can you solve it?

    Hi @ventoh
First of all could you please tell me what comment management system you have on your website?
In many instances, cache purge is not required when a comment has been approved and added to the database. Could you please elaborate why you need to purge comment data after approving the comment?

I found the same problem with other caching plugins and it was varnish cache with the comment cookie. I think I excluded comment_author_ in the Varnish settings.

    Hi @laserjobs

That is great idea.I think excluding comment_author_ in do seem to solve the issue.

Just to follow up the exact way I was able to fix the problem.

Under Applications – Application Settings – Varnish Settings
    Add New Rule
    Type: Cookie
    Method: Exclude
    Value: comment_author_[a-zA-Z0-9_]+

    Save and comments should work.
