    Hi there!

Thank you for making this plugin.

    However.. i have a problem.
If I search for fx. Langesbjergvej 21 and click it, it will change it to 21 Langesbjergvej

This store is located in Europe, where we never type the number first. It’s alway the other way around.

    Any way to solve this?

@surferdude667, thanks for the suggestion. I completely understand what you mean, but I’m having a hard time trying to figure out what kind of data I can use to determine if the street number should be before or after the route. Those come in 2 separate fields, and I’m just concatenating them. If you or anyone else has any ideas on what data to use to differentiate the format, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

    Hi Nate!

    Thank you for your response.

I see the problem.. But i guess for many Woocommerce shops they target 1 or a few countries. And 99% of the time, it’s the other way around in most european contries.

You could maybe make a setting panel, so that users a able to switch between what work in their situation.

Would be very appreciated. Thanks again!

My worry about that solution is that you can’t just set it that way if you (the store owner) has it formatted that way, because many of your customers will probably have it formatted the other way. It would have to be dynamic based on the data returned from the Google Places Autocomplete API.

Question: Is the default formatting (with number first) so bad that postal services will not be able to deliver packages to the correct place? Or is it just a widely accepted preference in your area, but not required?

Arh… so there is no way to force it? Because When i type in the field it displays it right, the suggestion it comes with is correct, but when i click it, it switches it around.

It could for sure make the postal fail in some cases, beacuse it’s really wrong. Not just a preference.

This is so essential, that google must have a solution? – i mean, it displays the correct string first, and then the plugin switches it?

If you can make a way to force it the other way, it would 100% fix it in my situation, and for everyone in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and many more countries.

Then there must be a way. I’ll try to spend some more time digging through their API and code to figure it out. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. Thanks.

@surferdude667, we found a fix to show the address in the correct format. We just released version 1.8 that has the fix. Please update and let me know if you find any other issues. Thanks!
