    Hi –

I recently installed this plug-in; looks great so far! I may need the Pro version for more bookings options, but right now the free version is giving me errors. I have tried the following from Chrome and Firefox – same behavior.

From the Event Bookings Dashboard, if I click Delete, it shows “Loading” but nothing happens. If I refresh the page the booking is still there.

If I click Edit/View – I am take to this url wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=event&page=events-manager-bookings&event_id=1&booking_id=2 but I get 404 Page Not Found error

Is there some config step I missed? Any help appreciated!

  • Hello,

Thank you for using EM. I’m glad to hear that you like it and hopefully we can get this small issue solved so we can get you up an running properly.

First, please let me ask if you could disable all active plugins, and activate the default WP theme. Once this is done, please see if this issue continues to occur.

I changed theme to Twentyfifteen – no change
I disabled each plugin, one at a time. No change until I disabled WP Cerber Security (like most people, I get constantly lots of brute force attacks). After disabling that:
    – Delete booking still shows “Loading” and the booking never gets deleted
    – Edit/View re-directs to /wp-login.php?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2F********.com%2Fwp-admin%2Fedit.php%3Fpost_type%3Devent%26page%3Devents-manager-bookings%26event_id%3D1%26booking_id%3D2&reauth=1 and asks me to login. Logging in just takes me to the admin dashboard, not the detail page for the booking
    – by pasting the url from my first post wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=event&page=events-manager-bookings&event_id=1&booking_id=2 I can actually see the booking detail page rather than a 404 error – so that seems like progress. But the links from the Event Bookings Dashboard don’t get me to that page, just the login page.

Please advise on next diagnostic steps – thanks!

Update: I had not disabled one last plugin: Really Simple SSL. When I disabled that, the Events Manager plugin appeared to function normally. I re-enabled my custom theme, all other plugins and Events Manager still seemed to be functioning normally.

Finally I re-enabled Really Simple SSL and Events Manager is still functioning normally.

I am concerned about a lurking conflict which could re-emerge, but for now my issue appears to be resolved. Thanks for the help!

    No problem ??
